TeraBox Downloader for iPhone
Download TeraBox videos and files on iPhone and iPad in Safari, then save videos to Photos. Nothing to install.
How to use the TeraBox Downloader for iPhone
- 1
Open Safari
Open this page in Safari on your iPhone or iPad.
- 2
Paste the link and tap Download
Paste the TeraBox link and tap Download.
- 3
Save to Photos
Open the file in Files > Downloads, tap Share and choose Save Video.
iPhones handle downloads a little differently from Android, which is why people get stuck. This page walks through the iPhone-specific steps. For a side-by-side guide covering both Android and iPhone, read download TeraBox on iPhone and Android.
Downloading in Safari
When you tap Download, Safari may show "Do you want to download this file?". Tap Download. A blue arrow appears in the address bar. Tap it to see progress. When the file is done, it's saved in the Files app under Downloads (On My iPhone or iCloud Drive, depending on your settings).
Move videos to the Photos app
- Open the Files app and go to Downloads.
- Tap the video to open it.
- Tap the Share icon.
- Tap Save Video. The video now appears in Photos.
If "Save Video" doesn't appear, the format probably isn't supported by Photos (for example MKV). Play it in VLC for iOS, or convert it using the steps on our TeraBox to MP4 page.
Change where Safari saves files
Go to Settings > Safari > Downloads. Choose On My iPhone to save locally, which is faster and works offline, or iCloud Drive to sync to your other Apple devices. Local saving is better for large videos if your iCloud storage is full.
Large videos on iPhone
- Keep Safari open while the download runs. iOS may pause it in the background.
- Use Wi-Fi. Large files on cellular can be slow and expensive.
- Check free space in Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
- If a download stops, paste the link again for a fresh download.
Watch without saving
To skip storage entirely, stream it with the TeraBox player online. It plays in Safari full screen and supports AirPlay to an Apple TV.
iPad tips
On iPad, you can use Split View: keep Files on one side and Safari on the other, then drag downloaded files into folders or other apps. Downloads work the same as on iPhone.
Other iOS browsers
Chrome, Firefox and Edge on iPhone use the same engine as Safari, so they work too. Their downloads also end up in Files, but each browser may use its own folder.
Fix common iPhone download problems
- Download button does nothing: turn off content blockers for this site in Settings > Safari > Extensions, or tap "aA" in the address bar and choose "Turn off content blockers".
- "Safari cannot download this file": usually means low storage or an expired download address. Free up space and paste the link again.
- File opens as a page full of text: long-press the Download button and choose "Download Linked File" instead.
- Video saved but not in Photos: downloads go to Files first. Follow the Save Video steps above.
Add the downloader to your home screen
In Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. The downloader gets its own icon, opens full screen like an app, and is ready the next time you receive a TeraBox link. It doesn't take extra storage space or ask for permissions.
