TeraBox Extraction Code: How to Open Password-Protected TeraBox Links

Some TeraBox share links open straight away. Others stop on a screen that asks for an extraction code, a short password of four characters or so. This guide explains what that code is, where people usually put it, and how to open a code-protected link in your browser with the TeraBox downloader, with no app and no account.

One rule up front: an extraction code is the owner's way of saying "only people I gave this to". You need the real code from the person who shared the link. There is no legitimate way to skip it, and this site does not try to.

What is a TeraBox extraction code?

When someone creates a share link in TeraBox, they can choose a private share with an extraction code. TeraBox then generates (or lets them type) a short code. Anyone who opens the link must enter that code before they see the files. You may also see it called a share password, access code or "pwd".

It is different from your TeraBox account password. The extraction code protects one share link only, and the owner can change it or cancel the share at any time.

Where to find the code

The owner usually sends the code together with the link. Look for:

• A line like "Link: https://1024terabox.com/s/1abc… Code: x7k2" in the same message.
• A link that ends in ?pwd=x7k2. The part after pwd= is the code. Our downloader reads it automatically.
• A separate message, email or comment sent right after the link.

If you cannot find it, ask the person who shared the link. Guessing codes does not work and can get the share blocked.

How to open a code-protected link with our downloader

1. Copy the full TeraBox share link, from any domain (terabox.com, 1024terabox.com, teraboxapp.com, terabox.app and mirrors).
2. Paste it into the box on the homepage and press Download.
3. If the share needs a code, an Extraction code field appears below the form. Type the code exactly as you received it and press Unlock.
4. The file list appears with names, sizes and previews. Stream videos in the player or press Download to save the original file.

If the link already contains ?pwd=, step 3 happens for you and the files open directly.

Common problems

"Wrong extraction code"

Codes are case-sensitive. Check for confusing characters (0 and o, 1 and l), remove spaces at the start or end, and try again. If it still fails, the owner may have changed the code: ask for the current one.

The code field does not appear

It worked once and now asks again

Each new visit checks the code again. Keep the code with the link, or use the ?pwd= version of the link so it is filled in for you.

For owners: sharing with a code safely

If you share your own files, a code is a simple extra layer: a leaked link alone is not enough to open it. Why we do not "bypass" codes

People sometimes search for a way to skip extraction codes. We do not build that, for two reasons: it would defeat the owner's choice to restrict the files, and it would break TeraBox's rules. Our tool only opens public links, or protected links when you have the real code.
